Deze keer geef ik extra aandacht aan de jonge Spaanse zangeres Júlia Colom uit Mallorca. Haar grootvader bracht haar interesse bij voor de “tonadas”, eeuwenoude volksliedjes. Julia verhuisde naar Barcelona en verdiepte zich in jazz-improvisatie, compositie en productie., Op haar eerste album “Miramar” mixt ze haar stem met de flamenco gitaar maar ook met electronica. In Nederland was ze in 2024 te horen tijdens Eurosonic/Noorderslag in Groningen!
