Deze keer richt ik de spots op de Mexicaanse, in Canada wonende zangeres, gitariste en songwriter Mamselle Ruiz uit Montreal! Als kind zong Mamselle al in kerkkoren. In 2010 vestigde ze zich in Canada. Naast zangeres is ze ook werkzaam als zang -coach. Daarnaast verzorgde ze de muziek voor een aantal Cirque du Soleilshows. Mamselle toerde met haar band al heel wat keren in Noord-Amerika, Mexico en Europa. Ze werkte o.a. samen met Lila Downs en Andy Gangadeen van Massive Attack!
This time I’m turning the spotlight on Montreal-based Mexican, Canadian-based singer, guitarist and songwriter Mamselle Ruiz! As a child, Mamselle sang in church choirs. In 2010, she settled in Canada. In addition to being a singer, she also works as a vocal -coach. She also provided the music for a number of Cirque du Soleil shows. Mamselle has toured with her band many times in North America, Mexico and Europe. She has collaborated with Lila Downs and Andy Gangadeen of Massive Attack, among others!
