De Marokkaanse desertblues band Tara N-Tiniri zag en hoorde ik tijdens het Sfinks festival bij Antwerpen. Tara N-Tiniri betekent “zonen van de woestijn” . De band startte in 2012 naar hun grote voorbeeld Tinariwen uit Mali. Hun teksten gaan vaak over de sociale omstandigheden van de nomaden, maar ook over liefde, vriendschap en vrede! Een boeiend optreden!
I saw and heard Moroccan desert blues band Tara N-Tiniri at the Sfinks festival near Antwerp. Tara N-Tiniri means “sons of the desert” . The band started in 2012 after their great example Tinariwen from Mali. Their lyrics are often about the social conditions of the nomads, but also about love, friendship and peace! A captivating performance!
