Deze week richt ik de spots op de Belgische singer-songwriter Emma Hessels uit Antwerpen. In 2023 won ze de wedstrijd “Sound track”, een springplank voor jong muzikaal talent in België. Emma is een voorbeeld van jonge indiemuzikanten, die hun eigen weg gaan met betekenisvolle teksten en een authentieke productie! Ze stond o.a. op het festival Best Kept Secret. Haar grote muzikale voorbeeld is Aretha Franklin!
This week, I’m shining the spotlight on Belgian singer-songwriter Emma Hessels from Antwerp. In 2023, she won the “Sound Track” competition, a springboard for young musical talent in Belgium. Emma is an example of young indie musicians who are forging their own path with meaningful lyrics and authentic production! She has performed at the Best Kept Secret festival, among others.
