Deze keer zet ik de spots op de Argentijnse reggaeband Los Cafres (de Wilden). Opgericht door o.a. leadzanger en gitarist Guillermo Bonetto! In 1994 brachten ze hun eerste album uit. Na tournees door Zuid- en Noord-Amerika staken ze pas in 2018 de oceaan over voor een toer door Spanje. Intussen hebben ze totaal vijftien albums uitgebracht In 1995 werd hun album “Instinto” door het blad Rolling Stone verkozen tot beste Argentijnse reggae-album!
This time, I’m shining the spotlight on Argentine reggae band Los Cafres (The Wild Ones). Founded by lead singer and guitarist Guillermo Bonetto, among others! They released their first album in 1994. After touring South and North America, they finally crossed the ocean in 2018 for a tour of Spain. They have now released a total of fifteen albums. In 1995, their album ‘Instinto’ was voted best Argentine reggae album by Rolling Stone magazine!
